STAR WARS Zero Company Microtransactions: Current Status

The launch FAQ says the team has no plans for monetization or microtransactions at this time. The current PC listing is a $49.99 purchase, but a present plan is not a permanent promise about every future product decision.

Does the game have microtransactions?

No microtransactions are announced for the released game. The developer’s wording is “we don’t have any plans for monetization or microtransactions at this time,” which is the accurate current status.

What the $49.99 price does and does not say

Steam lists the PC release at $49.99 before regional pricing, tax or a promotion. That explains the current purchase model; it does not prove that future cosmetic content, editions or downloadable content can never exist. The price and editions guide should be updated if the store listing changes.

  • Current listed PC price: $49.99.
  • Microtransactions announced: no.
  • Future monetization: no plan announced at the time checked.

Do customization options require payment?

The launch FAQ discusses customization and subsequent-playthrough unlocks without describing a cash shop. Keep gameplay customization, unlocks and paid monetization as separate concepts; one does not prove the other.
