STAR WARS Zero Company Controller Remapping Guide
STAR WARS Zero Company supports remapping on PC for controller and mouse-and-keyboard input, and on PlayStation and Xbox controllers. The launch FAQ also warns that some text inputs still require a keyboard on PC-style controller play.

Where remapping is confirmed
On PC, buttons can be remapped for both controller and mouse/keyboard. On PlayStation and Xbox, controller buttons can also be remapped. That is a platform-specific input answer, not a claim that every mouse, keyboard, accessibility switch or third-party device has a dedicated preset.
The text-entry caveat
The game is described as mostly playable with Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 controllers, but certain text inputs require keyboard entry. Keep a keyboard nearby for names, customization or any field that does not accept the controller layout.
A good first setup
Remap the action you use repeatedly, then test it in the Den, the galaxy map and a tactical mission before starting a high-difficulty run. If a button appears correct in menus but not in combat, note the screen and report it separately. See the first-hours guide for the campaign loop.
