Star Wars Zero Company System Requirements

Can your PC run Star Wars Zero Company? Here are the official Steam minimum and recommended specifications, plus the developer FAQ's own caveat that the published targets assume upscaling. Rechecked September 3, 2026.

Minimum PC requirements

Steam lists Windows 10/11 64-bit, an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, 16 GB RAM, and a GTX 1080, RX 5600 XT, or Intel Arc B580. The listing also names 50 GB of storage and a 1080p Low 30 FPS target.

  • OS: Windows 10/11 64-bit (the developer FAQ recommends Windows 11)
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1080, AMD RX 5600 XT, or Intel Arc B580
  • Storage: 50 GB
  • Official target: 1080p Low at 30 FPS

Recommended PC requirements

The recommended tier raises the target to 1440p High at 60 FPS. Steam lists an Intel Core i7-10700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, 32 GB RAM, and an RTX 3080 or RX 7800 XT, with 50 GB of storage.

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-10700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
  • Memory: 32 GB RAM
  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3080 or AMD RX 7800 XT
  • Storage: 50 GB
  • Official target: 1440p High at 60 FPS (with upscaling — see below)

These targets are not native resolution

The developer launch FAQ published alongside the August 27, 2026 release adds a qualifier the store listing does not carry: “We recently removed ‘native’ from our PC specifications to be fully transparent ahead of launch.” Reaching 60 FPS at 1440p “is best accomplished using the game’s recommended default setting: TSR or vendor upscalers DLSS/FSR.”

So the recommended row describes the game with temporal upscaling on by default. If you force upscaling off for a sharper image, you are no longer running the configuration that target describes.

Why there is no Ultra tier

Also from the FAQ, and useful if you are choosing between GPUs: the team said that “over the course of development, we validated the game is actually more CPU bound,” and that as a result “adjusting individual graphical settings (even on higher end GPUs) does not have the same inflection on framerate as other genres.” The missing Ultra specification is a deliberate decision, and a faster processor matters more here than the next GPU tier.

The FAQ also confirms that 32:9 and 21:9 ultrawide monitors are supported, and asks players still seeing poor framerate or stuttering on the recommended tier to use EA’s troubleshooting page. Full detail is in the launch FAQ guide and the PC requirements guide.

What the requirements do and do not tell you

These are the published Steam targets for the released single-player turn-based tactics game. They are not a benchmark for every driver version, laptop power limit, or mission scene. A PC at the minimum tier should be compared with the 1080p Low 30 FPS label, not an assumed 60 FPS result.

The 50 GB figure is required storage space, not necessarily the compressed download size. On drivers the FAQ gives one instruction and publishes no minimum version: use the latest available for your hardware. Community performance reports are kept separate on the stutter and optimization page.

Post-launch PC check

Star Wars Zero Company released on August 27, 2026. Compare the live Steam requirements with the hardware table above and leave more than the listed storage if possible for updates. Any measured performance note should include the build, driver, resolution, preset, upscaler setting, and mission context.
